Any
interested user must read and agree
with the terms and conditions set
forth in this notice before using
this web. If you do not agree to
these terms and conditions, promptly
exit this site. In these terms and
conditions, "We" and "us" mean Japan
Rokukawa Trading Co., Ltd., and
"you" means you the visitor or the
user or the customer. Japan Rokukawa
Trading Co., Ltd. is sometimes
abbreviated as “Japan Rokukawa” or
“JRTC”.

What Japan Rokukawa do
|
|
We Japan Rokukawa
* Offer our items in stock
displaying on our website.
* Furnish USS
auction information with you,
linking to their website.
* Help our
customers make a successful bid in
auctions, providing car details in
English and offering
advice on bid
pricing.
* Make a bid
in auction on your behalf.
* If the car
that you are after is not found
either in USS or in our inventory,
we will try to locate any
car from other auctions than USS.
Being a member of other
auctions like JU, TAA, CAA, JAA,
KCAA, AAA and others
we
can buy from them
also, either by using their
website or going off to
auction to make bids.
* Export the
car you bought to your designated
port.

Handling of Personal information
|
|
*You are requested to provide us
with your full name and address for
car delivery, collection and
also invoicing. Your
e-mail address is not shared by
Japan Rokukawa with any outside
individuals
or companies.
*Any personal information you may
provide to Japan Rokukawa via this
Site is protected, which will
not be
considered confidential . We use
your contact details to provide the
services you request
and
create documents relevant to
fulfillments
of shipment only. We do not
sell, rent, or lease the
lists
of your information to any unrelated
third parties.
*Your e-mail address is not shared
by Japan Rokukawa with any outside
individuals or companies
*You warrant that you will not
provide any information to Japan
Rokukawa that is defamatory,
threatening, obscene, harassing or
unlawful.

Basic requirements
|
|
1. Before buying a car from us, you
do research beforehand about CAR
IMPORT REGULATIONS of your country
and estimate how much you
would spend to import your car to
your place. In some countries,
ironically, import
taxes and duties alone occasionally
exceed buying price of a car itself.
Especially in perspectives of
environmental
protection, safety and a glut of
imported cars, authorities have been
considering tightening controls on
imported
cars. Japan Rokukawa does not accept
any claim that may incur in your
country.
2. You must
be sure that you have sufficient
funds in your account to cover any
costs encountered.

Business Terms
|
|
Shipment:
Japan Rokukawa can help you with the transport of vehicles anywhere,
from any port in
Japan to any port in
any country.
Shipment is
usually under the
term of “
F.O.B.
which stands for
“Free On Board”
unless otherwise
agreed ( Other terms
like “C .& F.”,
“C.I.F.” and any
other is accepted on
demand.)

|
Payment:
|
|
*
Bank Telegraphic
Transfers(T/T)
is the only method
of payment that can
be
accepted.
*
You can pay
basically in
Japanese Yen.
However, if US
dollars or any other
currency is
preferred,
please ask
us.
* Deposit
when
you take Bid Buying,
an advanced Deposit
is required to
reach us at
least one day
before the
auction date.
Depositing earnest
money with us is
regarded as an
agreement that you,
the customer
pay the advanced
deposit in the
conviction you will
not change
your
mind and
withdraw
from a
bid or cancel the
car or shift to
another supplier.
And we,
Japan
Rokukawa receive the
deposit under
obligation
that we do our
utmost to ensure to
perform our service.
When you make a
successfully bid,
you will be required
to pay the balance
money
within
15 days from the
date of the Proforma
Invoice.
Once
we confirm
the entire
amount has been
paid
off, then we ship
out your car.
In case that when
you can not buy, the
funds you have sent
us are to be
returned to you with
our
local Bank T/T
charges reduced.
Please allow us
3days
for refund
processing from the
date of the auction.
When you buy a car
from stock, please
leave us a deposit
in part payment of
the amount of
the
car.
On our receipt of
the deposit, the car
is reserved for you.

Reimbursement:
|
|
Japan
Rokukawa will give a
refund to the Bank
accounts only of the
senders whom the
advance deposit was
sent from, never to
a different Bank
account even though
the sender is asking
us to do so. That is
to prevent the
utilization of for
the purpose of money
laundering.

|
|
|
How to pay:
|
|
When you buy from auction
|
|
Any
one who wish to buy a
car from auction via Japan
Rokukawa can open a deposit
account to pay for our fees
and services. The
minimum
deposit
depends on the estimated bid
price as shown below.

Your
deposit needs to be
confirmed by us at least one
day before the auction date.
When you can successfully
buy a car at auction,
Proforma Invoice is to be
issued by us, which includes
information of the
outstanding balance you owe
us. The remaining
amount is to be paid within
15 days from the date of the
Proforma Invoice.
On your payment is
completely made, we start to
make arrangement for the
shipment. When no luck with
the
bid, the deposit is to be
paid back to you, with our
local bank T/T charges
deducted from it.

When you buy from stock
|
|
Anyone
who wishes to buy a car from
stock is requested to leave
us a deposit in part payment
of the amount of the car.
The deposit must be at least
10% of the amount. There is
no upper limit how much you
can pay. On our receipt of
the deposit, “RESERVED”
mark is to be stamped on the
car list and you can check
your confirm of the
reservation on MY
ACCOUNT page. Then
Proforma Invoice is to be
issued by us on which you
will see the outstanding
balance you owe us. The
remaining amount is to be
paid within 15 days from the
date of the Proforma
Invoice.
On
your payment is completely
made, we start to make
arrangement for the
shipment.

Cancelation or default of
payment
|
|
First
of all, you understand that
only
those who leave us a deposit
are given bidding rights in
auction or rights to reserve
a car in stock.
Having
paid a deposit and made a
successful
bid or having paid a
deposit to reserve a car in
stock, you are requested to
remit the balance to us
within 15 days from the date
of Proforma Invoice.
In default of the payment
during the periods of time,
your order will be canceled.
In that case, the
funds you have paid to us
are to be paid back to you
with penalty charge
deducted.

Penalty
charge
|
|
In
case of Bid Buying, the
funds reduced Y100,000 or
10% of the bid price of the
car, which is greater, is to
be refunded. That
compensates for our losses,
costs and expenses which
will be incurred in the
process of re-selling or
cancelling the car in
auction. Should you cancel
after having made a
successful bid and paid it
off, the procedure is the
same as a default of balance
payment. When cancelled, the
funds you have paid are to
be returned, deducting
Y100,000 or 10% of the bid
price of the car, which is
greater, from the total
funds you have paid.
In case of Buying from
Stock, the funds reduced 10%
of the selling price of the
car is to be refunded.

Proforma Invoice
|
|
When you make a successful bid or
reserve a car in stock, we will
issue you a
Proforma Invoice which states a
commitment from the seller to sell
the car to the customer. It provides
item description, price, terms of
the sale, which would appear on a
commercial invoice if an order
results.
|
|
Purchasing from Auction
|
|
Our basic idea is that any
purchase made by the buyer
is the final and there is no
returning of the car once it
is shipped outside Japan. We
act as a go-between our
customer abroad and auction
houses.
Our obligation is that to
help you buy
a car
of which quality and
performance being up to your
expectations being worth its
price you gave us and that
to ship out your car to your
designated port. To fulfill
that, we spare no effort to
provide you with as much
information as possible
about the car before buying
it , sending you English
translation of what the
auction sheet details about
the car and bridging between
you and the auctions. More
details sometimes need for
you to make up your mind to
make a bid on a car
especially if these cases
like the car
is too old, having
high mileages, with some
modifications, with some
repairs, to be expected
high-priced etc., please do
not make a
quick decision
without asking us. We will
have the car re-checked by
an inspector with the
auction and pass what the
inspector describes it
entirety to you. This
private car inspection would
cost you Y2,000 extra per
car but double checking the
car prior to bidding
is
highly recommended as most
of the purchases, cars are
transported to the shipping
port DIRECTLY from each
auction house, not being
carried into our yard for us
to check it with our own
eyes, which is for the
purpose of saving
transportation cost. And
please be warned that no
claim can be made
against any cars once they
have been exported outside
Japan under any
circumstances, even
though it is obvious that
the defect/failure you have
found when the car arrived
in the destination port is
attributed to the fact that
the inspector with the
auction house overlooked
them. They give the car only
a quick check up when it is
first brought into the
auction house. They must
handle flood of cars in
auction.

Process of Buying from
Auction
|
|
1. View lots of cars in USS
auctions, of which web site
will be given to you on the
page < STOCK>.
2. Select any cars and let
us know
which car you have interest
in. We will
give you what the auction
sheet tells about cars,
translating it into English
and help you decide your bid
pricing, providing recent
price records for the
similar cars traded in
auctions.
3. When you
decide which car you try
bidding, please furnish
us with the following
information
on the order
sheet
so that we can make a
bid on your behalf.

4. We will send you
back the
order sheet with our receipt
number, which
includes
how much you are
requested to
pay as a deposit to
take part in bidding. Your
deposit needs to be
confirmed by us at least one
day before the
auction date. In
other words, we will not
make a bid until when your
deposit is confirmed by us
by one day
before auction.
5. We will make a bid on the
car you want to buy up to
your requested bid price.
When you make a successful
bid,
we will issue you a
Proforma Invoice on which
you will see F.O.B. price
and the shipping
information. You will be
required to make T/T
for the balance within 15
days from the date of the
Proforma Invoice.

Cost
|
|
|
Private car
inspection is
charged Y2,000 per
car. And other
inspection like the
one done by JAAI
will be charged
minimum Japapanese
Yen 25,000 per car.
(
if repairs
are needed to pass
the inspection,
repair fee will be
additionally
incurred). |
The actual costs
=F.O.B Japan price
consist of
the
following;
* Successful bid
price
* Auction fee
*
Basic Domestic
Freight(Not
applicable to buying
from auction houses
of which location is
far from
shipping
ports. In that case,
we will give you
prior announcement
and let you know the
actual freight.)
*
Their handling fees
at
the
shipping port
* Other charges like
postages, T/T
charges and our
commission.
Please be aware that
they do not
include Ocean
freight
&/or Pre-shipment
inspection fee.
Pre-shipment
inspection is
imposed on car
importers by the
government in some
particular countries
like Kenya, Uganda,
Sri Lanka,
Bangladesh etc.. The
inspection has been
made by JAAI
etc and it will be
charged minimum Jap
Yen 25,000 per car.
If repairs are
needed to pass the
inspection, repair
fee will be
additionally
incurred, though.
If you wish
to import your car
with the ocean
freight included
& /or with
Pre-shipment
inspection ,
please inform us.
We will show
you how much C&F. (
FOB + Ocean Freight
to your port.)
&/or with
Pre-shipment
Inspection costs
will be on
the Proforma
Invoice.
And
if you wish for
private car
inspection, having
the double-checked
by an inspector with
the auction house,
it is charged
Y2,000 per car.

|
Order Cancellation
|
|
Regarding Bid buying, Order
Cancellation is accepted as
long as the cancellation
request is sent to us
at least 5 hours
before the auction time.
In this case, the deposit
you have sent to us is to be
returned to your account
with bank T/T charges
deducted. When your
cancellation request is
confirmed after our
successful bidding,
JPY80,000 is charged to you
as a penalty, which the
deposit you have paid
can
cover. Extra caution is
demanded when you place a
bidding order with us as the
penalty amount is that high.
Occasionally, we
must
try to resell the car in
auction at our risk
when cancelled by a seller.

Buying from stock
|
|
Select any car you want from stock
1. Our inventory will be given to
you on the page < STOCK>.
2. Select any cars and let us know.
3. When you make up
your mind to buy, please furnish
us with the following
information on
the order sheet.
* Car Item No.
& Car name
* Billing information :
Full Name,
Address and Phone No.
* Consignee’s information :
Full Name,
Address and Phone No.
* Port
of Desination
* Any
question/Inquiry
if any.
4. We will send you a Billing on
which you will see how much you are
requested to pay as a deposit to
reserve the car. Your deposit needs
to be confirmed by us within 5 days
from the date of the Billing issuing
date.
5. On our receipt of the deposit,
then we will issue you a Proforma
Invoice on which you will see F.O.B.
price and the shipping information.
You will be required to make T/T for
the balance within 15 days from the
date of the Proforma Invoice.

|
Shipment and Insurance
|
1. Shipping is done by the first
available ship after confirming of
full payment received.
2. All documents related to shipment
( Commercial Invoice,
Export-Certificate(certifying that
the car was De-
registered
and is scheduled to be exported.) ,
Bill of Lading and other paper like
insurance policy ) are sent to
your
designated address more commonly by
EMS couriers within
5 days after shipment unless other
courier
companies requested ( like
DHL, FEDEX or UPS).
3. Insurance policy is issued
basically under the conditions of
F.P.A (FREE OF PARTICULAR AVERAGE)-
AS PER INSTITUTE CARGO CLAUSE. FPA
policy in general covers goods
against total loss by marine perils.
Specifically saying "F.P.A." is the
minimum coverage covering total and
partial losses and damages if the
vessel carrying your car is involved
in a collision or fire, or is
stranded or sunk. If the partial
losses to the car are not resulting
from the marine perils, the insurer
does not pay for losses like
scratching, denting, bending,
chipping, cracking, theft, pilferage
and non-delivery. Insurance coverage
is for total loss, disasters or acts
of God and damages which are
obviously due to negligence of the
shipping company.. . 4. We are not
responsible for any loss caused by
the delay of shipment as the delay
is beyond our control.
